Program Presentation: ESG LEADERSHIP: STRATEGY, ETHICS, IMPACT
The Green Transition Office, in partnership with KSE Business School, invites you to the launch presentation of a new certification program: ESG LEADERSHIP STRATEGY ETHICS IMPACT. The event will take place on December 10 at the KSE campus as an open dialogue between business, government, and experts.
For Ukrainian companies engaged with European markets or seeking international financing, ESG has become a fundamental business imperative. Following the European Parliament's second reading of ESG directives, new reporting thresholds have been established: CSRD compliance now applies to companies with 1,750+ employees and turnover exceeding €450 million. As Ukraine aligns these directives with its governmental Strategy for Implementation of Sustainability Reporting by Enterprises, developments in European regulation have direct implications for Ukrainian business.
Yet the sustainability transition extends far beyond compliance. It requires reimagining operational frameworks, building new capabilities within teams, and adopting strategic approaches that place environmental and social considerations alongside financial performance. European regulation continues its evolution, with final legislative votes scheduled for Q1 2026, when ESRS reporting standards will undergo further refinement.
ESG LEADERSHIP STRATEGY ETHICS IMPACT is designed for executives and practitioners seeking a systematic understanding of how to embed ESG principles into their business models in ways that deliver tangible results. Before the program launches, we invite you to join an open discussion exploring real-world cases, the challenges confronting Ukrainian business, and the support that companies need from government.
Event agenda:
Welcome and opening remarks – Andrii Kitura, Head of the Green Transition Office, Valentyna Sakhno, Dean of KSE Graduate Business School.
