Green finance has moved from the margins to the mainstream for Ukrainian businesses and communities looking to align with European standards and secure international backing. But the devil's in the details: what actually makes a project bankable in the eyes of international financial institutions? What hoops do Ukrainian banks expect you to jump through? And which digital tools can help you get your funding application into shape?
We're convening experts from the European Investment Bank, OECD, UNDP, and Ukraine's key financial players to cut through the jargon and discuss what really works—and what doesn't—when it comes to accessing green finance.
Programme:
Our first panel tackles where things stand and what's holding us back. Expect a frank conversation about how international institutions size up Ukrainian projects, the nitty-gritty of ESG risk assessment in our banking sector, what the Ukraine Decarbonisation Fund brings to the table, and how the EU Platform on Sustainable Finance is shaping the rules of the game.
The second panel turns to digital infrastructure—arguably the unsexy but crucial bit. Which platforms are up and running? How do they actually help you put together a credible project and navigate the application maze? And what home-grown tech solutions are emerging?
We'll also hear about where the Green Platform is headed and unveil KSE Business School's new certification programme, "ESG Leadership and Sustainable Impact."
