How to Access Green Finance: A New Section on the Green Platform
DiXi Group and the Green Transition Office continue to develop the Green Platform and launch new tools that help businesses and communities find opportunities to implement green projects. A new section has been added to the platform: "Guides and References – How to Access Green Finance."
The section contains analytical materials, practical guides, and explanations on how to work with green finance programmes. Users can find:
- recommendations on project preparation
- explanations of financial programme terms and conditions
- step-by-step application instructions
- practical advice on securing financing in energy efficiency, renewable energy, decarbonisation, and sustainable reconstruction
"For businesses, this is an opportunity to navigate available support instruments more quickly, identify relevant financing programmes, and better understand the requirements of donors and financial institutions. For communities, it is an additional tool for preparing local development projects, modernising infrastructure, and implementing energy-efficient solutions with international and public funding," said Alona Korogod, DiXi Group project expert and green policy expert at the Green Transition Office.
The section already features materials on using the Green Platform for communities, green finance opportunities for SMEs, and an overview of funding sources within the Ukraine Investment Framework. The team plans to expand the section regularly with new materials and tools.
The Green Platform was initiated by the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine and the Green Transition Office, together with the DiXi Group think tank, on the Made in Ukraine platform. The platform was developed with support from the International Renaissance Foundation under the project "Research and Advocacy of Opportunities for Ukraine's Green Recovery."
