Green Platform to launch in Ukraine – a digital catalogue of available green financing programs for businesses and communities

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, together with the DiXi Group Think Tank and the Green Transition Office, has initiated the development of the Green Platform – a digital catalogue of available green financing programs for private businesses, state and municipal enterprises, and local communities. The Platform will help identify current opportunities for implementing energy-efficient solutions, resource conservation, and sustainable modernization.

The Green Platform will be available on the Made in Ukraine website and will include:

  • a catalogue of loan, grant, and investment programs;
  • personalized search tools tailored to the needs of businesses, enterprises, or communities;
  • an informational section on green transformation, examples of implemented projects, and useful resources for getting started.

According to Andrii Teliupa, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine, the main goal of the Platform is to bridge the information gap between those seeking financing and the green finance tools available to them.

“We are seeing a growing number of green financial instruments for businesses and communities – thanks to both international support and the demand from entrepreneurs themselves. However, these opportunities are often scattered across different platforms, making it difficult for businesses to quickly find a relevant program that meets their needs. The Green Platform will bring together offerings from the state, banks, donors, and investment funds in a convenient format. It will operate on the Made in Ukraine website, complementing other state programs for domestic production development and sustainable solutions. This is not just a catalogue, but a development tool – with examples of implemented solutions, personalized search, and constantly updated information,” emphasized the Deputy Minister.

The initiative is a response to a growing demand for financial support for energy-efficient and environmentally friendly solutions ranging from solar panel installations and building insulation to  implementing resource-saving technologies.

“A pilot version of the Green Platform will be launched in the coming months. The Green Transition Office will be responsible for maintaining the catalogue and regularly updating all available opportunities. In addition, we are planning to implement an easy-to-use feature for adding new programs. We invite financial institutions, donor organizations, and investment funds to submit information about their initiatives directly through the Platform,” noted Andrii Kitura, Head of the Green Transition Office and Development Director at DiXi Group.

All programs that comply with green financing principles may be included in the Green Platform to expand access to financial opportunities for Ukrainian businesses and municipalities. To submit programs to the Platform, please complete the form via the provided link.

The Platform’s initiators emphasize that Ukraine’s green economic transformation is impossible without the active participation of the financial sector and international partners. They call for cooperation and joint development of a sustainable finance ecosystem in Ukraine.

The development of the platform was financed by the International Renaissance Foundation within the framework of the project “Research and Advocacy of Opportunities for Ukraine’s Green Recovery,” implemented by DiXi Group.

The Green Transition Office is an independent advisory body under the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine that helps to implement reforms in the field of green transition, energy and climate policy of Ukraine. The Green Transition Office operates with the financial support of the UK International Development and is implemented by DiXi Group.
