Green Transition Office together with partners presented the Green Platform at URC2025

At the International Ukraine Recovery Conference URC2025, the Green Transition Office together with the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine presented the Green Platform – a digital catalog of green financing programs for businesses, communities and enterprises.

Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Andrii Teliupa noted that Ukraine is currently experiencing physical reconstruction and economic transformation, and if recovery is to be sustainable and future-oriented, it must be green. He also emphasized that businesses and local communities do not have clear, centralized and simple access to green financing opportunities, and this is where the Green Platform comes in. Teliupa reported on active negotiations with international partners:

"To ensure this platform connects real money with real projects, we are already conducting active dialogue with international and domestic financial partners. As of July 2025, over 60 funding sources have already been identified and integrated into the platform structure. We are exploring specific partnerships: a credit line from OeEB worth 30 million euros that will support green financial projects, and a grant from EIB worth 20 million euros that will allow municipalities to install solar, biomass, geothermal and storage systems in schools and hospitals."

Head of the Green Transition Office and Development Director of DiXi Group Andrii Kitura explained that the first version of the platform focuses on raising awareness and improving access to information by bringing together various international and national funding programs. He also reported on the current state of the platform:

"The Green Platform currently contains 67 active programs and is constantly being updated. Our team is also working to keep information current and add new funding sources from local Ukrainian banks, international financial institutions and donors. We invite financial institutions, donors and investment funds to submit information about their initiatives directly through the platform."

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine plans to expand the platform's functionality and will continue to attract new green financing instruments together with international partners. The Green Platform is expected to become a key tool for achieving the goals of Ukraine's National Energy and Climate Plan, supporting European integration and mobilizing private capital for public needs.
