ESG Leadership and Sustainable Impact: enrolment opens for cohort two

ESG Leadership and Sustainable Impact: enrolment opens for cohort two

Ukrainian companies posted at least 325 vacancies for environmental and sustainability specialists in the first half of 2026, put out by 237 companies and organisations. That's according to a new Green Transition Office study, "Labour Market and Competencies for Ukraine's Green Economic Transformation."

The second cohort of the ESG Leadership and Sustainable Impact certification programme, run jointly by the Green Transition Office and KSE Graduate Business School, answers directly to that demand for practical ESG skills. Enrolment opened on 14 July.

It's Ukraine's first comprehensive certification programme built around managing sustainability and applying ESG approaches in business. The programme runs 85 teaching hours and is structured around the day-to-day work of sustainability executives, managers and consultants.

By the end of the programme, participants will have a working understanding of the core ESG processes, including:

  • accounting for greenhouse gas emissions and setting reduction targets;
  • assessing supplier ESG risk and building due diligence into supply chain management;
  • carrying out double materiality assessments under the European Sustainability Reporting Standards;
  • organising ESG data collection across a company and assigning responsibility between departments;
  • preparing sustainability reports to international standards and getting them externally assured;
  • building an ESG strategy and an operational rollout plan with defined KPIs, accountability and monitoring.

The programme brings together European standards and methodology with practical assignments and input from experts who work directly with business. Every module works through current EU requirements alongside real cases, tools and templates. Dedicated blocks cover corporate governance, non-market strategy, sustainable finance, supply chain management and reporting.

There's also an off-the-record discussion with public and corporate sector representatives on how ESG approaches and the EU Taxonomy are actually being applied in Ukraine.

Format:

  • 12 teaching modules;
  • offline and online sessions at the KSE Dragon Capital Building;
  • workshops, a bootcamp and site visits;
  • an individual ESG project, which can double as the basis for an operational rollout plan with KPIs, a roadmap and monitoring mechanisms;
  • a final project defence and certificate;
  • professional networking and access to the programme's community of participants and alumni.

The programme is aimed at C-level executives, ESG and compliance managers, finance professionals, accountants, lawyers, procurement managers, environmental specialists, non-financial reporting specialists, internal auditors, and ESG and sustainability consultants.

Classes are set to start in the first half of October; organisers will confirm the exact date later.

The full four-month certified programme costs UAH 115,000.
Anyone who registers within the first month of enrolment gets a 20% discount, bringing the price down to UAH 96,000.
